Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Have you ever been told you are too sensitive? Are you tired of feeling misunderstood? I understand that vulnerability and facing big emotions, like grief or anxiety, can be scary. I want to provide a caring, respectful and non-judgmental environment for you to explore, process and sit with your emotions so that you can show up in your life and relationships with greater courage and authenticity. I want to empower you to discover that sense of a competent self that can deal with existential life issues and become fully alive and fully yourself.

One of the life experiences that led me on this journey to become a therapist was the loss of my father when I was 16 years old. I noticed that talking about and acknowledging the difficult emotions surrounding this loss was uncomfortable for a lot of people around me. I learned at the time that the answer was to push those feelings away. It wasn’t until later in life that I recognized that confronting and talking about those emotions honestly and openly would allow me to heal and become more authentic in my life and relationships. I want you to see that it’s possible and it’s not so scary.

Areas of Special Interest:

My areas of special interest include loss and grief, highly sensitive people, depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, and relationships. I take a humanistic, trauma-informed, holistic approach to therapy that is tailored to your life and needs. I am currently working on certification in Emotionally-Focused Therapy.

We all deserve some support sometimes and I want to make this journey a little less scary for you. A free 15-minute consultation is always available.
