If you’re reading this right now, I want to start by acknowledging the courage it takes to even begin exploring support. Reaching out for help can feel uncomfortable and vulnerable, especially if you’ve been carrying difficult emotions like shame, guilt, or embarrassment. These feelings are incredibly human—and so are the ways we try to protect ourselves from them.
Many of us develop unique defense mechanisms and behaviours that once served to keep us safe, but over time, they may begin to keep us stuck. You are not a lost cause or failing; you are human—doing your best to manage pain, fear, and uncertainty with the tools you’ve had up to this point.
In my practice, I strive to create a space where all parts of you are welcome, including the ones you may have hidden or felt you had to push away. You won’t be negatively judged by me. I deeply believe that healing begins in the presence of compassion, validation, and connection. Together, we’ll explore what’s been difficult, gently untangle the stories that no longer serve you, and support the parts of you that are ready to grow and feel better.
If you’re here, reading this, there’s already a part of you that wants something different—something more whole, peaceful, and aligned. That part of you is brave. And that part is enough to begin.
Hello, I’m Ashley, a registered psychotherapist with over fifteen years of experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds around the world.
My passion for this work stems not only from professional experience but also from my own journey as a client. I’m especially drawn to supporting those who have experienced trauma, high levels of anxiety and stress, borderline personality disorder, and self-harming behaviours.
I understand how hard it can be to open up about the most vulnerable parts of yourself—especially when past experiences with family, friends, or even professionals have left you feeling judged, misunderstood, or unsafe. It can feel isolating, heavy, and at times, hopeless.
My goal is to create a space where those difficult conversations feel safe and supported. From our first meeting, I prioritize open dialogue, collaboration, and honest feedback to help build trust and comfort at your own pace.
If you're ready to take a step toward healing, I invite you to book a free 15-minute consultation. I’d be honoured to walk alongside you on your journey.
