Hi, I’m MaryAnn. If you call or email about getting help for yourself or someone you love, you’ll meet me.
I’m here to ask about your needs and make a recommendation for getting help with one of our excellent therapists. Officially, that’s called a client intake, but I like to think of it more as helping you get comfortable about taking the next step.
When we talk, you can tell me a little, or tell me a lot. I’ve heard it all and I’m unfazed by tears, frustration or overwhelm. What’s important is moving forward and I’m honoured to play a small role in helping you make a positive change. Because you know what? You’re worth it!
To get started with counselling, call (226) 535-5200 or email info@upstreamcounselling.com. I’ll be there.
Having worked in the corporate world for many years, I was contemplating retirement. I met with my friend, Brad Wilton, for breakfast one morning, and we talked about navigating this huge change in my life. He mentioned he was drowning in admin work as Upstream grew.
You can guess the rest. My retirement lasted approximately one weekend and now, a year later, we’re working on getting me into semi-retirement for real.
When I’m not helping clients at Upstream, you can find me in the always-overgrown garden, sweating with my running club, or hanging out with family and friends at the cottage.
