Welcome Message

Are you feeling lost or confused about who you are? Do you feel defined by your past and can’t move forward? Are you feeling worried about the future, and unsure of what to do next? Does your stress feel overwhelming and inescapable? These thoughts and emotions can seem impossible to navigate or overcome, but I am here to help so that you don’t have to face these challenges alone. Think of me as a guide, empowering you to take control of your journey going forward.

Together, we can learn how to accept ourselves, take back control, and become more adaptable to the uncertainty of life. Using techniques like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT),  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and narrative therapy, I offer tools to help you reconnect with yourself, improve resiliency, and bring emotional relief where it is needed. Most importantly, I offer a space where you can be fully witnessed as you are, free from judgment, and  explore new possibilities for what your life can be.Ultimately, I want to meet you where you are, and I want to help you get where you want to go.

The first step on a journey can often be the hardest, but also the most worthwhile. Book a free 15-minute consultation to give us a chance to meet, and plan a treatment approach that works best for your needs! Whatever your concerns may be, nothing is too big or too small to talk about in therapy.

About Me

My journey to becoming a psychotherapist was profoundly shaped by the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was during this challenging time that my passion for helping others with their mental health struggles became crystal clear.

For years, I felt uncertain about my career path, drifting through various jobs that left me unfulfilled. I discovered my true calling in practicing psychotherapy, and decided to take a leap of faith to further my education.

During my undergraduate degree studying public health, I unlocked my passion for mental health advocacy, and gained experience researching suicide prevention. These reasons, along with my professional background in the world of wellness and rehabilitation led me to change careers.

Ultimately, at the heart of my decision was a deep desire to make a meaningful difference in people's lives on a personal level, and see that difference firsthand.

I understand what it’s like to feel stuck, lost, and alone when facing life’s challenges, and I know from personal experience how invaluable the right mental health professional can be on your journey.

My own battles with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and suicidal thoughts have given me a unique perspective on psychotherapy, and these experiences inform my practice and drive my commitment to providing a positive therapeutic experience for my clients. It was through seeking help that I learned the importance of your unique story and connection as therapist and client.

To me, the most important part of therapy is that you feel seen, heard, and understood, just like I was.
