Are you feeling overwhelmed by events or feelings that seem outside of your control? You are not alone. Life can be A LOT, and to overcome the hurdles we face, we humans need someone to see, hear and accept us as we are – with warmth, compassion and understanding.
I’m here to stand in your corner and support you through life’s currents. Some of the challenges that I specialize in helping others with include: anxiety, depression, anger, obsessive thoughts, ADHD/neurodiversity, stress and burnout, decision fatigue, interpersonal conflicts, narcissistic abuse, and living a meaningful life while achieving life goals.
I take a holistic, trauma-informed, neuro-psychotherapeutic and person-centered approach, drawing from attachment theory, narrative therapy, cognitive-behavioural techniques and psychodynamic exploration. I believe we adapt to survive the environments in which we live, and that by exploring and honouring these emotional and mental coping patterns, we can come to a fuller understanding of who we are and what we need to grow.
A bit about me – I’m a bookworm, a writer, a foodie, an artist, and an animal-lover. My dream is to one day operate and practice on a hobby farm like the one on which I was raised, which incorporates nature, animal, art and somatic therapies with traditional talk therapy.
I completed my undergraduate studies in Creative Writing and have spent the past seven years working as a content creator and graphic designer in a corporate setting. In 2020, I decided to pursue a Master's in Counselling Psychology to answer a calling I had felt since I was just a kid helping my mom out with her horse-centered wellness program: to help people, and to hear their stories.
